The artist's first event as a member of the Parallel Platform was the Parallel Intersection in Budapest. There, members of the second and third cycle of the european program for emerging photographers attended various events, such as lectures and presentations of their own work.

Two exhibitions were also held: Zeitgeist (with works developed by second cycle artists throughout their period with Parallel) and Showcase, in which Gustavo participated (where the new members presented previous works).

The exhibition - which featured images from the Balbela Arzaguet project - marked Gustavo's first outside of Latin America, and the beginning of a cycle of at least two Parallel-related exhibits through the next year.
